Psychiatrist or Certified Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

You will provide initial and ongoing clinical assessments for youth, teens, and adults via telehealth, and prescribe appropriate medications. You will need to have your own supervising physician, an Ohio licensure, and active board certification in the State of Ohio. The current need is 15-18 hours per week.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Evaluate medication needs and medical services required for further evaluation 

  • Collaborate with care coordinators to provide care coordination recommendations to the team 

  • Complete all sessions via telehealth 

  • Complete all documentation within electronic health record, meeting all productivity and clinical requirements 

  • Complete all tasks within ethical standards of conduct and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and guidelines 

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications Requirements

  • Licensed Psychiatrist in Ohio or Licensed Nurse Practitioner with experience in Psychiatry or Behavioral Health 

  • License or certifications to prescribe to clients across the lifespan 

  • License active within the state of Ohio and in good standing with relevant medical/clinical boards 

  • Maintains Standard Care arrangement with Psychiatrist/Supervising Physician (if CNP)

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational, problem solving, decision making and communication skills

 

Skills

  • Ability to work independently 

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Must be able to build rapport with clients

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with community mental health resources

  • Able to participate in First Aid, CPR, Verbal de-escalation training

  • Experience with, or ability to learn Google Suite
